How fast you can convert a SharePoint 2010 project to SharePoint 2013 depends on the complexity of your solutions But I think I can walk you through the basics of what I've done which may help you get closer to your goal.
There is so much out there about using Visual Studio when working with the .Net Framework I wanted to highlight a few tools in the IDE that could be overlooked.
I'm just an I.T. guy who has had the opportunity to work on a lot of different types of projects. Those I've worked with have all had an impact on me and if I can pass on a fraction of what I've learned along the way( and still learning FWIW) I think it will be worthwhile. If I have a target audience I would have to say it's probably those looking for help with a specific problem. I hope to be able to help all skill levels.
I'm going to end this first post with the one nugget of truth I've found working in the industry. There is always more to learn and the best solution to solve a problem always takes more time or money than you have, so just do the best you can to make it a good solution.
